Fallout 4, the action role-playing video game from developer and publisher Bethesda, has received update 1.3 for PS4 and Xbox One. The PC version of the update was rolled out almost a week ago.

Though there has been no explanation on the reason behind the delay for the console version, it is believed that this could be caused by the testing procedures that are in place before an update goes live. There might have been some delay in the testing process, which Attack of the Fanboy argues is not uncommon.

Bethesda noted that this update will automatically download into PS4 and Xbox One consoles. The new update has been long overdue for Fallout 4 players, and adds status menu for settlers, ability to rotate an object being held with left/right triggers, improved "ESDF" keys and more.

The update promises stability and memory improvements, fixes issue of NPCs getting stuck in Power Armour, players getting dismembered when they are still alive and so on. It also noted that Fallout 4 will now allow use of Robotics expert in combat.

The update also fixes several quest related issues like the problem with "Taking Independence," invulnerable characters getting stuck in combat, issue where a player could not get Preston as companion and many more.

The update also adds fixes to Workshop. It fixes a bug where settler counts to appear incorrectly, fixes issues with settlement attacks not properly generated, settlement happiness calculation and more.
