Bethesda's Fallout 4 has been a favourite among many gamers since its release on 10 November on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

The game is set in an open world with post-apocalyptic Boston, Massachusetts, as the playground. Gamers can choose to play as either a male or a female character, and get many companions, with Dogmeat, a German Shepherd, being the most popular.

In order to help people along in its gameplay, here are some tips, tricks and guide for Fallout 4.

Guide to get all the achievements for all factions

Players have a guide below from Gamepur that will allow them to get all the achievements from the four factions in the game, namely, Minutemen, Brotherhood of Steel, Railroad and Institute.

Players need to complete all the missions from these factions if they have to get all the achievements. But this is difficult to clear since some factions will be your in-game rivals. When players near the end, they will have earned two achievements: the Nuclear Option and Fate of the Commonwealth.

Once players have completed all the questlines in any of the factions — Minutemen, Brotherhood or Railroad — they will earn, the Nuclear Option.

It has been recommended that players pick Institute questline rather than all of these three since it will allow them to earn Fate of the Commonwealth.

Nevertheless, here is a list of missions a player needs to complete before they venture to do the Molecular Level quest.

Main Missions:

  • War Never Changes
  • When Freedom Calls
  • Unlikely Valentine
  • Reunions
  • Dangerous Minds
  • Hunter/Hunted

Minutemen:

  • The First Step
  • Sanctuary
  • Taking Independence
  • Old Guns

Brotherhood of Steel:

  • Semper Invicta

Railroad:

  • Tradecraft

Institute:

  • Mankind-Redefined
  • Powering Up
  • Nuclear Family

Following the completion of these missions, players can head to complete the Molecular Level mission. This is where they will need to go for "Safety Saves" (a save file needed before players jump to a mission that changes the game).

So, the first of the Safety Save must be done when players are tasked to talk to Virgil. It was suggested that players opt for Choose the Brotherhood of Steel first and then move to Railroad.

Brotherhood of Steel

Players have to go and talk to the Brotherhood and help them build the teleporter in the Molecular Level quest. They must work with them until they get the following quests:

  • Blind Betrayal
  • Ad Victoriam

Continue with the Brotherhood to get The Nuclear Option and Fate of the Commonwealth then reload to your "Safety Save" and then choose the Railroad.

Railroad

Players must talk to the Railroad and help build a teleporter for them. Next, they are guided to the Underground Undercover quest. Players must continue here till you reach the objective "Continue working with Father". Work for the Institute till you get the below quests:

  • Mankind-Redefined
  • Powering Up

Even though players will get the "End of the Line", they must carry on with the Underground Undercover quest

Now, save the file before selecting any other missions and name it "Safety Save 2". Continue with the Railroad until you get these two quests:

  • Underground Undercover
  • Rockets Red Glare

Continue with the Railroad to get The Nuclear Option and Fate of the Commonwealth then reload to your "Safety Save 2" and to finish it with the Institute.

Institute

Now, start with the "End of the Line" quest, and continue there till you get "Nuclear Family" quest. Next, get to Fate of the Commonwealth quest. This will mark the completion of the game with all the faction and you will have all the achievements.

Guide to build anywhere in Commonwealth

Below is a guide from Gamepur, that allows players to build anywhere in Commonwealth, minimising the need to head to safe place to upgrade if they want to use the Workshop.

Step 1: Press ~ on your keyboard (while the game is running)

Step 2: Type in "tgm" (without quotes)

Step 3: Type in "Player.Placeatme c1aeb"

Step 4: Hold down 'V' to start building

Step 5: It's done and you may build anytime and anywhere.

Note:

  • A Base that is build outside will not be marked on the map.
  • The settlement's size with build outside must be as big as sanctuary.
  • It is no use building inside a cell as the base will disappear after some days, since enemies will respawn here.
  • If players don't want the ability to build workshop, then click on the workshop saying 'c1aeb' (at the top of the console). Just type "disable" and get rid of it.
  • If players need to clear the enemies from the area, use the God mode by typing, 'tgm.'
