The wedding reception of the newly-married celebrity couple - Fahadh Faasil and Nazriya Nazim - was held in Alappuzha on 25 August. The event was held in a grand galore in the presence of the family and friends.
Fahadh wore a black suite and Nazriya was spotted wearing cream and peach colour half sari. The sari was embellished with heavy stone-work.
Actors including Mammootty, Manoj K Jayan, Rima Kallingal, Aashiq Abu, Balachandra Menon, Janardhanan, Rizabawa, Rajeev Ravi, Geethu Mohandas, Poornima Indrajith, KPAC Lalitha, Siddharth Bharathan, Nadiya Moidu and directors including Siddique, Sathyan Anthikkad, Anil Radhakrishna Menon, Siby Malayil, Blessy, Major Ravi attended the reception.
Politicians including Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, MK Muneer, Dr Thomas Isaac and Vayalar Ravi also attended the event.
The reception, which began at 6:30 pm, was under strict security supervision. Media was restricted from capturing the visuals. The event was made musical by performances from "Thaikkudam Bridge" band.
The couple got married on 21 August at Nazriya's home town in Thiruvananthapuram.
The wedding was also a star-studded event attended by celebrities and politicians. The wedding reportedly had a guest list of more than 4,000. The wedding was also restricted to the invited guests and media was not allowed in the venue.
Meanwhile, the married couple gave a brief appearance to media and fans after the wedding. Actors such as Suresh Gopi, Dulquer Salmaan, Maniyanpilla Raju, Jagadheesh, Prem Kumar, Tiny Tom, Meera Nandan, Ahaana Krishnakumar, Gauthami Nair and Menaka attended the marriage besides director Shaji Kailas and his wife Annie, director Priyadarshan and his wife Lissy.
Fahadh-Nazriya marriage was one of the most talked about wedding of the industry since their engagement in January this year. Fahadh is son of the ace director Fazil and is known as the new face of Malayalam cinema. Meanwhile, Nazriya began her career as a television anchor and later became a popular actress in both Malayalam and Tamil films.
Fahadh will soon join the sets of his new film, "Moneyrathnam", in a few days, but it is not known whether Nazriya has signed up for any.
