Ariesplex SL Cinemas in Thiruvananthapuram will have at least one show dedicated for Baahubali 2 for a year considering the huge demand of the audience, who have been flooding from even other states to experience the movie in 4K resolution wide screen.
"Even people from other states have started coming to experience 4K Baahubali on wide screen at Trivandrum. Considering the huge demand we are planning to run at least one show throughout the year for promoting Film Tourism," Sohan Roy, Aries Group chairman said in a statement. It has to be noted that recently, Ariesplex had bagged an award of appreciation from Baahubali team for being one of India's best theatres to watch the movie.
Meawhile, Baahubali 2 has raked in a record revenue of over Rs. 2 crore within three weeks (24 days) of its release since April 28. "Another National Record for Aries Plex by crossing 2 Crore in less than 25 days... Expecting to cross 5 crore mark too. Just imagine if the 4K version gets released in 2000 similar screens in India...Wait for Indywood Revolution...[sic]," Sohan posted on his Facebook account.
