The young Korean heartthrob and EXO member DO shared a few details about his first acting experience and revealed that it was a bit tough, though it earned him fame and recognition.

The celeb made his acting debut through a television series, "It's Okay, That's Love", wherein he played the role of a high school boy, named Han Kang-woo.

The K-Pop star stated that it was initially difficult for him to understand the script and relate with his character, but director Kim Kyu Tae and screenwriter Noh Hee Kyung helped him with the project.

"I was so touched and amazed when I was cast in that drama. At first, I struggled to understand the script, but Noh Hee Kyung taught me a lot about the meanings behind the lines and the characters' emotions. Director Kim Kyu Tae also gave me advice on how to easily understand the script," he said during an interview with Japanese media outlet Oricon Style.

DO even spoke about his relationship with co-star Jo In Sung. "I was a little scared of him at first, but he treated me like a younger brother. He taught me how to face acting seriously. He also gave me a lot of advice about expressing the character's feelings. I still hang out with Jo In Sung and Lee Kwang Soo, and we often talk about acting," Soompi quoted him as saying.

The celeb recently showcased his modeling skills along with the rest of the EXO members during the promotional activities of fashion brand SPAO. The boy band teamed up with girl group AOA for the brand's fall/winter collection campaign, titled "Live Your Life".
