Jaipur, Aug 31 (ANI): Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar on Sunday said that investors' confidence in the domestic market has improved in wake of lumbering economy registering its fastest growth in two-and-a-half years for the quarter ending in June. Gross domestic product grew a faster-than-expected 5.7 percent year-on-year, a government data showed, sharply higher than a provisional 4.6 percent expansion in the previous three months. Javadekar said the government has provided facility to investors to apply on-line for environment clearance to ensure transparency and cut red- tape.
