dropping, terrifying, essential. It never stopped. Neither will she’. Long time
friend Kathy Griffin could only write: ‘A legend, a friend, a mentor, an icon,
and wildly funny. One of a kind. RIP’.
Her daughter, Melissa Rivers said in a statement. “My mother’s greatest joy in
life was to make people laugh. Although that is difficult to do right now, I know
her final wish would be that we return to laughing soon.”
