The year started with the best women centric movie of the year 2'Queen'. The protagonist in the movie Kangana Ranaut took everyone by storm with her stellar performance, turning tragedy of a single and'under confident' woman into a spirited celebration of life.Another flick that marked its presence in 2014 was Rani Mukherjee starrer'Mardaani'. The movie was about a tough female cop Shivani Shivaji Roy taking over the depraved world of human trafficking. Priyanka Chopra's'Mary Kom', a biopic that presented the story of a champion boxer, a wife and a mother transcended a message that women in this era do not need to give up on their dreams.Vidya Balan, the actress known for her terrific performances in the past was yet again impressive this year and outshined with her spectacular performance in'Bobby Jasoos'.Last but not the least, the movie which took everyone by surprise was Alia Bhatt's'Highway'.
