The end of the world has been predicted far too many times since the first time in 634 BC, when the Romans feared that the city would be destroyed in the 120th year of its founding. Yet again, a doomsday prediction has surfaced, this time by theologist Dr F. Kenston Beshore.

Beshore, holder of five doctoral degrees in theology, predicts that "Rapture" will occur over a period of seven years -- November 2014 until 2021 -- or prior to the "Second Coming", which will occur between 2018 and 2028.

Rapture is the term describing the future, wherein all true believers who live to see the end of the world would be taken to heaven from Earth by the God. In theory, the non-believers would be left behind at the time for tribulation.

The theologist has based all his predictions on "Thessalonians" and the "Book of Matthew". Beshore says that there would be definite signs before Rapture, and says that there are hidden messages within the Bible that hints as to when it will occur.

Moreover, he believes God would never cause destruction on earth before sending a warning and Armageddon would be the same. He alludes to the Jesus predicting the destruction of Jerusalem years before it happened.

Beshore, who is also the President of the World Bible Society, asks the world to prepare for the return of "our Lord and Saviour", Express reported. He reminds that according to Matthew 24:30-36 "they will gather his elect form the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other" and Matthew 24:40-41, "out of the two men and two women in the field - one man and one woman will be taken and the other two will be left."

According to the website Rapture Ready, natural calamities including the earthquakes that occurred in Indonesia, Japan and California, Russia's preparation for a nuclear war, atrocities in the Middle East, the reign of the ISIS and the Ebola outbreak are all early warning signs of the looming Rapture.
