Nikhil Siddharth's Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada (EPC) has continued its dream at the US box office in its second week. The collection of the film is now heading towards $1 million mark in the country.

Released in 90 screens, Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada opened to good response at the ticket counters in North America. The strong word of mouth helped the film do good business in its opening weekend in the country. The movie also made a decent collection at the US box office on the weekdays.

The Vi Anand-directed romantic entertainer collected $389,920 at the US box office in its first weekend and $141,909 on the weekdays. Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada collected a total of $531,829 (Rs 3.64 crore) at the US box office in the first week. Its day-wise breakup is $24,323 on Thu, $94,988 on Fri, $163,306 on Sat, $107,303 on Sun, $30,520 on Mon, $36,778 on Tue, $39,638 on Wed and $34,045 on Thu.

Trade analysts predicted that the collection of Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada would be affected by new Indian releases Dear Zindagi and Jayammu Nischayammu Raa in its second week. As predicted, the movie showed a drop in its business on its second Friday, but its eight-day collection was almost equal that of its fourth day business. But the film showed a big jump on its second Saturday.

The Nikhil Siddharath-starrer collected $30,000 on its second Friday and $63171 on Saturday in the country. Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada is estimated to have collected $625,000 at the US box office in nine days. Considering its present pace of collection, the movie is set to beat the lifetime collection record of Premam, which has raked in $829,098 at the US box office so far.
