"Dragon Ball Super," the popular anime TV show from Toei Animation, aired Episode 39, titled "Great Time-skipping Counterattack?! Is It Coming? Goku's New Technique!" on April 17, exclusively on Japanese Fuji TV.

The current theme of the anime show is the Champa saga, where the team of Champa and that of Beerus have squared off in the multiverse tournament, dubbed Universe 6 vs. Universe 7.

Episode 38 saw Hit defeating Vegeta and later it was Goku's turn to fight him. Goku was seen giving a good fight. In one of the last scenes we saw Goku attacking Hit, beating out his famous time-lapse technique.

In the recent Episode 39, Goku is seen powering up to his Super Saiyan Blue and is seen taking on Hit, not giving him any chance to hit back. Goku manages to drop some hard punches on Hit, Attack of the Fanboy said in its review.

Hit gets angry and powers up and now both the fighters seem to be equally powered as both are taking blows from each other.

The longer the fight goes on, the better Hit becomes. Hit is seen getting the better of the fight and landing some punches on Goku. He is also seen telling Goku that he has improved his time-lapse technique.

Goku takes a really hard blow, with Hit shooting a powerful combo attack. Following this, Hit wants to be declared the winner, but Goku manages to stand up and continue the fight. This has other fighters, including Hit, baffled.

This episode shows us a new technique that Goku was perfecting. It is a mixture of the Kaioken technique and Super Saiyan Blue's power; it has a blue and red aura. Goku powers up to show this new technique. Viewers are also told that this technique was developed to fight Lord Beerus.

In another scene, Vegeta goes into a flashback, to a scene where Goku fought with him using the Kaioken technique, a long time ago on Earth.

After powering up to the new technique, Goku takes on Hit with a combo attack, and supplements this with one of the biggest Kamehameha wave attacks that he has shot in some time. The episode concludes with Hit giving his best to defend the powerful Goku. We will have to wait for the next episode to see what will happen to Hit.

Meanwhile, Toei Animation has shared the preview of Episode 40, titled "Conclusion at Last! Is Beerus the Winner? Or is it Shanpa?"

The preview video shows Goku telling Hit that he is not fighting at his full power and asks him to fight with his deadly moves. In what could probably be a heart-breaking scene for Goku fans, Hit is seen powered and landing a powerful punch on Goku that seems to have him knocked out. Hit's punch is so heavy that it has all the audience shocked.
