Popular TV actress Divyanka Tripathi aka Ishita of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" got engaged to her co-actor Vivek Dahiya on 15 January at a private ceremony in Chandigarh.

As soon as news of Divyanka's hush-hush engagement hit headlines, the gorgeous actress has been flooded with congratulatory messages from her fans on social media.

While several pictures from the engagement ceremony have been out on instagram, a video surfaced recently where the newly engaged couple looked head-over-heels in love with each other.

In the video, both Divyanka and Vivek looked adorable as they danced to the title track of their show "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein".

Talking about the engagement, Divyanka had told The Times of India: "I'm a normal girl aspiring to lead a normal life with my partner. He is genuine and simple. He is a guide who calms me when I'm stressed. He cares for me. It's a comforting feeling. Everything is good about Vivek and women should envy me. Nazar na lage."

While many were happy with the engagement news, some were shocked as the actress had always denied rumours of her being in a relationship. Not just Divyanka's fans, but the couple's friends from the Telly industry too were taken aback.

Ex-"Bigg Boss 9" contestant, Digangana Suryavanshi, who has earlier worked with Vivek in popular show "Ek Veer Ki Ardass – Veera" told Bollywood Life: "It was a huge surprise. I know him personally. We worked together in Veera, which was his first show. Their engagement was a rather interesting development. I wish them a lifetime of happiness."
