Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer "Dilwale" is all set to take over the cinema halls this December. "Dilwale", which marks the comeback of Bollywood's most romantic jodi of SRK-Kajol, has generated huge hype and that can be noticed in the advance booking status.

The advance booking of "Dilwale" in India started on Sunday and within a day several tickets sold out, especially in the National Capital Region (NCR), where tickets of several shows sold out within hours of opening the pre-booking counter.

The response is similar in Mumbai, Pune and Kolkata region, where shows are going houseful. At several theaters, especially in the North circuit, the opening day shows have 'sold out' status, while at other places the shows are filling up fast.

Early response suggests that the film will open to a decent occupancy. However, the final occupancy percent will be revealed on the day of the release.

In a strategic move, the advance booking of "Dilwale" started in early November in the UAE. The film also received terrific response at the UAE-GCC box office.

"Mind you, a big English film--- Star War's sixth part--- will be released in UAE on the same day. The fact that yet the response to Dilwale in the Gulf is so prompt and overwhelming, speaks only about the bright prospects of this SRK film co-starring Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon," 9XE.com quoted a source as saying.

Directed by Rohit Shetty, "Dilwale" features Shah Rukh, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. The film will hit screens worldwide on 18 December along with Ranveer Singh's "Bajirao Mastani".
