Shah Rukh Khan romancing Kajol is a good enough reason for people to book their tickets for "Dilwale" but the action-comedy-drama boasts of a few more selling points.

Return of the iconic onscreen couple

The pair of SRK and Kajol is a big deal and when they're coming back to the big screen after a gap of five years, it is supposed to be the event of the year.

In the past few weeks, at every launch and in interviews both have been asked what makes them the most-loved lead pair of Bollywood. 'Ordinariness' and 'friendship' are two standard one-word replies the actors have given.

These two have worked for over 22 years and almost started their careers together. Also, all their films were blockbusters and are remembered to this date.

Kriti Sanon-Varun Dhawan

Fresh, young and vivacious, Kriti and Varun's madness connect with the youth. Their infectious energy, onscreen charisma and spontaneity are aspects which are sure to work in favour of the film.

The Rohit Shetty factor

This guy destroys cars, but makes entertaining films. Not many may agree with his style of filmmaking, but at the end of the day, he never disappoints his producers and that is of paramount importance when it comes to making the bucks.

Element of intrigue

The makers have very intelligently not given out much about what the viewers can expect from the film. All anyone knows is how Varun and SRK are playing brothers, and Kajol has betrayed the latter. The intrigue is working quite well and the interest level is increasing by the minute.

Chart-topping music

"Gerua", "Manma Emotion", "Janam Janam" and "Tukur Tukur" are already topping the charts. All the YouTube videos for these numbers have gone viral with over millions of hits. The best bit about the album is it's a healthy mix of emotions. Composed by Pritam, most are sung by Arijit Singh.

Scheduled for an 18 December release, the film also stars, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Varun Sharma and Boman Irani in key roles.
