Superstar Dhanush is known for being there for his dear ones always. This time the actor has done something special for his better half. The actor will now appear in a cameo role for his wife Aishwarya Dhanush Rajinikanth's directorial movie "Vai Raja Vai".

The excited Aishwarya shared this news through her Twitter account and thanked her husband for accepting her request.

"Thank you @dhanshkraja for giving me the nod n agreeing to do a small cameo in #Vairajavai:)..This is going to be super exciting to shoot!," tweeted Aiswarya.

Dhanush has earlier acted in Aishwarya's debut directorial movie "3" opposite Shruthi Haasan. The film became popular for the song "Why This Kolavari Di", which was the chartbuster of the year. The romantic psychological thriller "3" received mixed reviews and became an average grosser.

Despite the film received average responses, the lead actor won many popular awards of the year 2012. The film won him South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) for Best Actor, Best Lyricist ("Kannazhaga") and Best Playback Singer ("Why This Kolaveri Di"), Filmfare Awards South for Best Actor and Best Male Playback Singer and Vijay Awards for Best Actor.

Now the audience expects a mass cameo entry of Dhanush in his wife's upcoming movie. Meanwhile, Dhanush is now awaiting the release of his Tamil movie "Anegan" directed by KV Anand along with Karthik and Bollywood movie "Shamithabh" directed by R Balki.

"Shamithabh" also has Amithabh Bachchan, Rekha and Kamal Haasan's second daughter Akshara Haasan in important roles.

Coming to Aishwarya's second directorial "Vai Raja Vai", the movie is touted as a Tamil romantic thriller starring Gautham Karthik and Priya Anand in the lead. The film is said to be in the final stage of production and is expected to hit the screens by the end of November. The story and the screenplay of the film are done by Aishwarya and the script is penned jointly by Madhan Karky and Aishwarya.

The film also has Taapsee Pannu, Vivek, Daniel Balaji, Vasanth, Gayathri Raguram, Sriranjani and Manobala in pivotal roles. The film's music is done by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the cinematography is handled by VT Vijayan.

"Vai Raja Vai" is produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh and Kalpathi S Suresh under the banner of AGS Entertainment.
