The trailer of Dhanush- Amala Paul's "Velai Illa Pattadhaari" ("VIP") is all set to be released this month.

"VIP" is Dhanush's 25th film and is directed by debutant Velraj. The film, touted to be a romantic action entertainer, will have Amala Paul playing the female lead. The film's other cast members include Vivek, Sathish, Saranya Ponvannan, Samuthirakani and Anita Ratnam. Sivakarthikeyan is said to be doing a special appearance in the film.

The Dhanush starrer has music composed by Anirudh and the songs have already turned out to be chartbusters.

The film's first look poster and the teaser, which were released a few months ago, have received positive response from fans and they have been eagerly waiting to see the trailer, which is set to be released this month. This has been confirmed by Dhanush and Anirudh in their Twitter handles.

The composer has also revealed that "VIP" will be gracing the screens in July.

Anirudh and Dhanush will be working together for a music video after the success of "Why this Kolveri di?" song. The duo will feature in a separate music video on the title track of "VIP," which has been crooned by Anirudh.

"VIP" will be Dhanush's first release of 2014 and the actor is producing the film under his Wunderbar Films banner.

Besides "VIP," Dhanush has a few projects lining up for release. He is currently involved in K.V. Anand's "Anegan," which is touted to be the actor's biggest project. The film also has popular actor Karthik in an important role.

Dhanush is also working in his second Hindi film "Shamitabh," which will have Amitabh Bachchan and Akshara Haasan in pivotal roles.

The national award winner will also be seen in Vetrimaran's new project. This untitled project will be the third film after "Pollavadhavan" and "Aadukalam" in the acto-director duo's association. He will don the producer's hat once again for Krithika Udhayanidhi's second film, which is expected to go on floors soon.
