Bungie has announced that its latest gaming title, Destiny, will receive a new update 126.96.36.199 on 23 September 2014.
The Destiny update will be going live around (2am PST) on all platforms - PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The new update 188.8.131.52 will be removing Majors from the Heroic tiers in some of the levels and thus reducing the difficulty in some of the Heroic missions. The update will patch players having issues with the black screen at the end of the Vault of Glass Raid.
Bungie is also running its first Timed-Event with Queen's Wrath that will be releasing on 23 September and will go on till 6 October. The event will also be inclusive of new unlockable mission modes, additional bounties to complete, timed vendor and rare/legendary weaponry to unlock.
Destiny was released on 9 September 2014 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. It runs on an in-house engine by Bungie.
Below is the new update 184.108.40.206 for Destiny (Bungie):
The latest patch for Destiny reduces the difficulty of a number of activities, as well as fixes issues when completing the Vault of Glass.
Reduced difficulty by removing majors from Heroic tiers for:
- Shrine of Oryx
- Sword of Crota
- Exclusion Zone
- Dropping the relic at the end of the raid will no longer result in a team wipe. This will prevent players being stuck at a black screen after the raid.
- You will remain dead if you were dead when the mission ended. That will be addressed by a future patch.
Encountering a black screen at the end of the Raid? The fix is in tomorrow's Destiny patch. http://t.co/kfsfAk1bze
