New Delhi, May 29 (ANI): Flash mobs are passe; these students grabbed eyeballs while they staged a freeze mob at the heart of New Delhi recently in a bid to let India confront its culture of violence against women. Smriti Singhal, a volunteer of the organizing group, The Education Tree, said that they do not want to send sermons, but it is a stride towards a change they want to see in every individual. When a group of students performed a freeze mob with the theme "Jo mera hai woh mera hai" (What is mine is mine) at downtown New Delhi's central business district, onlookers were pleasantly surprised by the effectiveness of the event. The participants say they command attention with the surprise element. The people are obliged to look at the messages that make them think on the issue.
