New Delhi, Sep 10 (ANI): Delhi is home to a large number of people ___ both students and professionals ___ from the northeastern states. In order to ensure their safety and welfare, the Delhi Police recently organized a review meeting at the Arunachal house with various Northeast representatives, student leaders, representatives from NGOs and employees' associations. Representatives from the National Capital Region including Gurgaon and Noida also participated and submitted their representations to the Secretary of North East M.P forum, Takam Sanjoy. Takam Sanjoy urged the delegates to be more sensitive to issues concerning youth from the Northeast.
