The launch of Delhi government's round-the-clock helpline for women in distress has been delayed due to technical glitches.
The launch of helpline number "181" was scheduled for Monday morning. However, some last minute obstacles have pushed the activation to Monday evening.
The number "181" can be dialed from both mobile phones and landlines.
Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit announced the launch of the helpline last week following the protests over the Delhi gang-rape.
