British rock band Def Leppard sent its fans into a zone of total disappointment when they officially cancelled the ongoing Winter 2016 Tour on 30 January. This is not the first time the band has cancelled a show and which is why many have started wondering if this could be a sign of the iconic band splitting up.
The five-piece band, which had just started its US tour -- Winter 2016 Tour, was forced to officially postpone the remaining shows within three days of the tour's commencement as the band's frontman Joe Elliott continues to struggle with his ongoing throat issues.
The band had even cancelled its 27 January show in Greensboro, NC, and then again on 30 January in Orlando. This is when the group officially announced that it would be postponing the remaining 10 shows due to Joe's ongoing illness.
The band's official statement read: "The DEF LEPPARD concert scheduled to take place tonight at the Amway Center in Orlando, FL has been postponed due to illness. A new date will be announced soon."
The band's drummer, Rick Allen, took to Twitter to elaborate on Joe's illness. He tweeted: "The Doctor basically said that if Joe continues to sing without resting his throat for a month he might do permanent damage."

Going by the band's 2015 schedule, one can clearly see that the group has been touring with short breaks since April last. And even Joe, last year, had revealed that he had been suffering from bronchial spasms and that doctors had no explanation for his coughing.
Looking at all these consequences, fans are now wondering if this could be a sign of Def Leppard splitting up.
