TV actress Deepika Singh, popular for her role as Sandhya in "Diya Aur Baati Hum", recently took some time off from her hectic schedule.
The actress and her husband Rohit Raj Goyal flew off to Goa to celebrate their first wedding anniversary.
Deepika and Rohit, who got married on 2 May last year, met on the sets of "Diya Aur Baati Hum", which was directed by Rohit.
However, while Deepika is still ruling the hearts of millions of viewers with her performance in the show, Rohit quit the popular show to explore other projects.
When contacted by Telly Chakkar, Rohit said: "Definitely this is a blissful moment for us. We are spending our time in Goa together. Though we will soon resume work, currently we are enjoying our time with each other."

Recently, Deepika was in the news for her ill health. She had a lump in her vocal cord that made it difficult for her to deliver dialogues. Some reports also suggested that if the pain persisted, the actress would have had to undergo a throat surgery.
Meanwhile, in "Diya Aur Baati Hum", Suraj (Anas Rashid) is trying hard to prove that he is a loving father to spoilt son Ved, who is ashamed of his father's profession. Ved lies to his friends that his father is a big-shot, but ends up receiving flak for his lie. Suraj feels dejected after realising that his son doesn't respect him.
