Deepika Padukone to choose from 20 scripts; could it be a film with Shah Rukh Khan?

Deepika Padukone may be running a tight schedule, courtesy Vin Diesel's "XXX: The Return of Xander Cage," but the lady has found time to read scripts sent to her from back home. She has as many as 20 scripts to choose from.

"Deepika has a lot of film scripts at the moment that she needs to read. She hasn't signed any Bollywood film yet as she knew that her Hollywood project will require a lot of her time. Also, she didn't want any overlapping, and wasn't in a hurry to sign her next Bollywood movie. So, she is taking her time, and is reading different kinds of scripts," a source told the Hindustan Times.  

This leads to some obvious speculations. Last month, a few days before Deepika jetted off to Canada (where she is shooting for "XXX 3"), she said she would like to play Saina Nehwal on the big screen, but was quick to add that she was yet to sign her next (in Bollywood).

In January, while enjoying the tremendous success "Bajirao Mastani" brought to her, she said she would love to work with Salman Khan soon. "I haven't been officially offered any film. And I want to work with Salman soon, hopefully," the HT quoted her as saying.

Also, there were rumours of her being considered for a Shah Rukh Khan film with Aanand L Rai on the director's chair, and another Sanjay Leela Bhansali project opposite Ranveer Singh. So, it could either be one of the above or a completely new project.

Meanwhile, a bunch of stunning pictures of her from the sets of "XXX 3" have gone viral. Scheduled for a Jan. 20, 2017 release, the film features Nina Dobrev and Ruby Rose in key roles.
