Deepika Padukone was the most loved Bollywood actress in March 2016, according to a survey by Ormax Media. Deepika, who had claimed the top slot for January and February as well in the same monthly survey titled "Ormax Stars India Loves" (Ormax SIL), beat Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra once again to secure the position this time.
Ormax Media has released the list of top 10 Bollywood female stars for March 2016, based on a public survey that asked 3,300 people in 29 cities across India to rank their favourite actress. While Deepika has come up as the most loved and popular Bollywood actress thrice in a row in the survey, Katrina and Priyanka continue to be in second and third position, respectively.
They are followed by actresses Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kajol, Madhuri Dixit, Jacqueline Fernandez and Sonakshi Sinha.
Deepika is currently in news for her upcoming Hollywood debut in the film, "XXX: The Return of Xander Cage" that also features Vin Diesel and several other Hollywood stars. Deepika is known for giving back-to-back hits, her last blockbuster being the historical drama "Bajirao Mastani" that also starred Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra.
On the other hand, Katrina's last hit movie was "Bang Bang" (2014), following which she was seen in "Phantom" that had an average commercial run while her latest release, "Fitoor" bombed at the box office. She is currently busy with the shooting of "Jagga Jasoos," and has wrapped up the shooting of "Baar Baar Dekho" recently.
The lists of top 10 female stars of February and March this year have several names in common. While the first four slots have remained unchanged, Alia, who was in sixth position in February, came up to the fifth slot this time, replacing Aishwarya. Also, Jacqueline has claimed the ninth position, removing Shraddha Kapoor from the list.
