A fresh batch image of Datsun's next offering Redi-Go has emerged online, not long after the first- ever spy shots of the model hit the web.

Snapped by a member of Team BHP, the test mule of Redi-Go was seen with the same camouflage. From the images, there is nothing much one can really pull out since the camouflage does a fairly good job at covering everything.

The Datsun Redi-Go, codenamed DatsunI2 and expected to ride on the CMF-A (Common Modular Family) platform, the same as in the Renault Kwid, is likely to be launched in India by March next year. The model is likely to be showcased at the Auto Expo 2016 in February.

Under the hood, the Redi-Go is speculated get a three-cylinder petrol engine with five-speed manual transmission; the model could also get an automated manual transmission (AMT) variant.

Likely to be priced under Rs 3 lakh in the country, the Redi-Go will be competing against the likes of Maruti Alto and Hyundai Eon. The Datsun Redi-Go will be the third product of Nissan's low-cost brand Datsun after Go hatchback and Go+ MPV in India.
