Aamir Khan's Dangal has continued to make a fantastic collection at the China box office in its fifth weekend and toppled the lifetime records of xXx: Return of Xander Cage and Kong: Skull Island in 31 days.

The Aamir Khan starrer has continued to keep the cash registers ringing in its fifth week. Dangal has collected $9.08 million at the China box office and its day-wise breakup is $1.69 million on Friday, $3.92 million on Saturday and $3.47 million on Sunday. Its fifth-weekend collection is bigger than the lifetime collection of Baahubali: The Beginning, which grossed $7.82 million in the country.

Dangal has collected a total of $169 million at the China box office in 31 days. It has crossed the lifetime records of Universal's xXx: Return of Xander Cage, and Legendary/Warner Bros' Kong: Skull Island, which minted $164 million and $168.2 million, respectively, at the China box office. It has become the second highest grossing non-Chinese movie of 2017 after The Fate Of the Furious, which has raked in $392 million in the country.

Dangal has collected a total of Rs. 1,870 crore gross at the worldwide box office and become the all-time highest-grossing movie in the history of Indian cinema. The movie is now headed to become the first Indian film to cross Rs. 2,000 crore mark in the global market. "Ramesh Bala‏ tweeted: "#Dangal GBOC @ WW BO (Till June 4th 2017): #China - ₹ 1,089 Crs #Taiwan - ₹ 36.5 Crs RoW - ₹ 744.5 Crs Total - ₹ 1,870 Crs."

Directed by Nitish Tiwari, Dangal is a biographical sports drama, which features Aamir Khan, Sakshi Tanwar, Zaira Waseem, Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh in the lead roles. The film has struck a chord with the audiences not just in India, but also in several foreign markets.
