The cast of Season 23 of "Dancing with the Stars" was announced on "Good Morning America" and as speculated, Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte has agreed to trade his speedos for a pair of dancing shoes. Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez, who won gold in the recently concluded Rio Olympics, is also a part of the dancing reality show.

"I'm going to treat this kind of like going into the Olympics," Lochte said Tuesday morning on "Good Morning America." This new gig for Lochte comes close on the heels of a scandal in Rio where he lied about being robbed at gunpoint. This caused four major sponsors to walk away from the swimmer.

As for the professional dancers, this season has welcomed back Derek Hough, Cheryl Burke and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. "It's always great to be back with my DWTS family, coaching, creating and making lasting memories," Hough, who took some time off after winning the Mirrorball Trophy in Season 21, wrote in an Instagram post announcing his return.
