Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's loving daughter, Suhana, turned 14 on Thursday. The doting father took to social networking site Twitter to wish his daughter on her birthday.

When it comes to his children, especially daughter, SRK has always showered praises and love. Be it his youngest son AbRam doing "ga-ga" or daughter's achievement, SRK can't stop gushing about his kids on Twitter.

On Thursday though it was midnight, he took to Twitter to thank god and wish his daughter. "So special this midnight. 14 best years of my life got completed. Thank u Allah for giving me, the gentlest, most beautiful reason to smile," he tweeted.

Later in the morning, the actor posted the photo of his daughter with a message, "She has gentleness about her which people only have when their reserves of goodness are deep."

Suhana has always remained "Daddy's little girl". She is often seen accompanying her dad to the cricket matches, but she loves playing football. However, the teenager has set her career aim on acting. Last year, in an interview she had said that she wanted to become an actress.

And like a doting father, SRK has supported his daughter's interest. The "Chennai Express" actor cannot stop taking his responsibilities as a 'father.' He has always put his family first before anything else.

Khan, who enjoys fatherhood a lot, treats his children as his friends.

"I have always enjoyed fatherhood a lot because I've always had a desire to have friends and now I have three of them. So it's nice. One of them is really small but it's good. We can treat him as we want," he told DNA.

"I think there will be no other permanent relationship I will have except with my kids in a strange sense, of course there's wife, sister and friends. But the one that is strangely permanent is children."
