The "Criminal Minds" spin-off "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders" is getting fans hooked on to the screens with interesting twists. The show witnesses the International Response Team travelling to different countries to rescue U.S. citizens, who have become victims of gory crimes in foreign lands.
In episode 6, we saw the team solve the case of missing honeymooners in Belize. And now, in episode 7, we will see IRT go all the way to Morocco in search of a retired couple, abducted off their cruise ship. The synopsis teases how the exotic holiday destination becomes a deadly place for tourists. The IRT will head to Casablanca to look for a retired couple from Idaho who are kidnapped when they visit the country as part of their cruise holiday.
The IRT, during their investigation, discovers that the kidnapper's motive is to abduct couples off cruise ships. And Monty informs the team that even if the kidnappers receive ransom, they still end up torturing and killing the couples. This is when Unit Chief Jack McGarrett realises that they are dealing with a group of serial killers.
The promo of the "Citizens of the World" shows Monty talking to the kidnapped couple's daughter and the team is wondering how to handle the case after Monty's revelation. The clip also shows Jack taking charge of the situation and making a direct contact with the serial killers. At the end of the trailer, Jack is seen entering a location of the criminals and their kidnapped couple, on his own, despite warnings from his teammates.
Before the video closes, a gunshot is heard while the IRT team is rushing to help Jack. Did Jack get shot by the kidnappers? Will his team be able to make in time to rescue him and the kidnapped couple? We will have to wait and watch.
