If you are planning to buy a new OnePlus One and finds that Rs 18,999 for the 16GB variant is too high, Overcart is offering a feasible solution. On Monday, 27 July, the online retailer is hosting a sale of refurbished OnePlus One smartphones in India at a discounted price, making the handset cheaper than it already is. Shoppers can save up to Rs 6,000 by purchasing OnePlus One that has been refurbished as new.
In an email sent out to registered customers, Overcart announced that the OnePlus One sale is scheduled for 2 pm on Monday, 27 July. The e-commerce giant will also sell unboxed units alongside refurbished ones. The refurbished handsets will carry a price tag of Rs 12,999 while the unboxed units will sell for Rs 13,499.
Explaining the condition of the handsets, Overcart said, "Unboxed devices are seal-opened devices that have passed our certification prior to sale. While the device itself is in the same condition as a new item, the outer packaging may have some signs of wear and tear. Refurbished devices are those with minor cosmetic blemishes or those that have been refurbished by an authorised service partner."
How to buy?
Customers need to register themselves ahead of the sale, similar to other online flash sale. Overcart will then follow up on the registrations by sending a purchase link via email prior to the sale. Buyers must follow the link, log in to respective accounts and complete the purchase.
Overcart does not specify the number of units that will be on sale this Monday but advised buyers to login 15 minutes in advance. Open to all, OnePlus One handsets will be sold on a first-come first-serve basis.
Overcart conducted a similar sale for OnePlus One 64GB variant back in May. The higher storage model was sold for Rs 16,999 with a six-month warranty.
