Rashmi Desai and Nandish Sandhu are headed for a divorce. This wasn't very shocking given their much-publicised fights and rifts.

The couple, who tied the knot on February 12, 2012, is done with marriage and it was Rashmi who filed the papers. The reality show these two participated in came with a glimmer of hope as they got to rediscover themselves, giving the relationship another shot in the process, but things didn't stick together.

An India-Forums source said the pair hasn't been on talking terms for quite some time now, adding that at the recent shoot of a music video, both Rashmi and Nandu were seen avoiding each other. The TV actor confirmed the news saying there was this one time he wanted things to work, but when Rashmi filed papers for the second time, he didn't resist it.

"Rashmi and I have had our ups and downs, and it's true we are parting ways. She had filed the papers a year ago, but I convinced her to give it another shot. This time around when she again filed the papers, I did not resist. I've given our relationship my 100%, but looks like it was something not meant to be," the web portal quoted him as saying.

Separations are never a breeze. Another telly town couple — Daljeet Kaur and Shaleen Bhanot — went through bitter times. Their's was severe because the she claimed her husband tried strangling her once for confronting him about kissing another girl.

"Shaleen was also keen to give our marriage another chance. My parents didn't speak to me for months after I chose to return to him. I hoped he would change, but within two days, he was back to square one," she had told The Times of India.
