Ajith starrer "Thala 56" was rumoured to go on floor on 20 April, but it did not as per the buzz. Now, we have a confirmation on the film starting the shooting shortly.

The shooting of "Thala 56" will begin soon and the news has come from Stunt Silva. He has said that he will be filming an action sequence in the first week of May in Chennai.

Talking about Ajith, Stunt Silva, who worked with the actor for the first time in "Mankatha", says that the "Veeram" star does not like to party.

"I have known him since Mankatha. Ajith sir never indulges in big parties for his birthdays. He just asks me to pray for his well-being and his family's prosperity. In the first week of May, I will again be shooting a stunt scene for Ajith sir in Chennai, for 'Thala 56'," Behindwoods quoted the action choreographer as saying.

"Thala 56", which is the temporary name given by the Ajith fans for the movie, was launched on 9 April. Originally, it was supposed to be kick-started in February. But the filming got delayed as the actor wanted to be with his family.

Later, it was said that the shooting of "Thala 56" would begin on 20 April. But the rumours turned out to be false.

"Thala 56" has Shruti Haasan, Santhanam, Kabeer Duhan Singh and others in the cast. It is directed by Siruthai Siva and produced by AM Rathnam. Anirudh Ravichander composes the music for the Tamil movie.
