ASUS has recently announced the Android Wear-powered ZenWatch 2 at Computex 2015 in Taiwan. ZenWatch 2 builds upon the previous version, offering a refined design and an improved user experience.

ASUS ZenWatch had introduced many exclusive features including deep ZenUI integration, FoneHelper, activity and fitness tracking and remote camera. And the new version improves upon every aspect of the original ZenWatch experience.

The smartwatch works with the Wellness smartphone app to serve as a fitness manager to help users keep a check on their health issues and achieve personal fitness goals.

The enhanced remote camera allows users to see the camera display right on the smartwatch unlike the previous version. It is also useful for group photos, letting the photographer compose the photo, release the shutter and check the final result while being included in the shot.

In addition to software improvements, the smartwatch also comes with an IP67 water-resistance rating, allowing it to be worn even in the shower or during exercise schedules.

ASUS ZenWatch 2 features a durable stainless-steel case, which is available in silver, gunmetal and rose gold colours. For added protection, it comes overlaid with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection against scratches and damage.

Complementing its physical design, the smartwatch comes with instantly-changeable software watch faces. Wearers can create their own custom watch faces in the new Watch Face Land app.

ZenWatch 2 is also available in 18 different combinations of strap materials and colours for further personalisation.
