Display and Design

The I Phone 6s plus has a 5.5-inch, 1080 x 1920 pixels, 401 ppi display. The dimensions are 158.2 x 77.9 x 7.3 mm and it weighs 192 grams, making 6s Plus a little heavy when compared to Lumia 950XL.

The Lumia 950XL has 5.7-inch, 1440 x 2560 pixels, 515 ppi, OLED display, with 144.9 x 73.2 x 7.6 with less bezel and weighs 150 grams.

Processor and RAM

Apple iPhone 6s Plus has a custom 1.8 GHz dual-core A9 processor and a 2GB RAM with latest iOS 9 Operating System.

Lmia 950XL has a powerful Octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor with Windows mobile 10 OS and 3 GB RAM that ensures good overall performance.

Storage

iPhone 6s Plus comes in three variants 16GB, 64GB and 128GB. No additional scope for storage is available.

The Lumia 950 XL comes with 32GB of on-board memory and an additional option to expand the storage capacity to up to 2TB with a microSD card slot.

Battery

iPhone 6s Plus has a 2,915 mAh battery, which ensures 24 hours of talk-time on 3G and up to 16 days of stand-by.

Lumia 950 XL has a 3,400 mAh battery, which Microsoft claims can offer up to 19 hours of talk time and 300 hours of standby time.

Camera and Features

Lumia 950XL has a 20 MP rear camera, optical image stabilisation, Triple-LED (variable tone) flash, which makes the camera outstanding. It has features like "living image".

Apple iPhone 6s Plus has a 12 MP, optical image stabilisation, phase detection autofocus and dual-LED (dual tone) flash. The camera supports a new feature called "live photo".

Both iPhone 6s Plus and Lumia 950XL can record 4K videos.

Additional features

IPhone 6s Plus has new 3D touch sensor and new improved fingerprint scanner on the home button making the unlocking easy and fast.

Lumia 950XL has many new features like Continuum for Phone, Iris Scanner, Fast Charging, Glance Screen, HAAC audio recording, Wireless Charging and USB Type-C port.

Price

I Phone 6s Plus has a starting price of $749 and is currently available in Apple Stores and other online retailers in US. In India, it is set to launch on 16 Oct. iPhone 6s Plus will start at Rs 72,000 for the base model and go up to Rs 92,000 for the 128GB variant.

Though the launch date for Lumia 950 XL is not confirmed, it has a price tag of $649.

Both phones have many features, making the devices high-end products. If you want a phone, which has windows 10 OS, with expandable memory and a great camera in an affordable price range, go for Lumia 950XL. But if you are a diehard fan of iPhones with some privileges given by the company, you can go for iPhone 6s plus.
