Apple announced the launch of the much awaited iPhone5S on Sept. 10, which is also available in a new golden colored metal back, along with the conventional black and white colors.

The gadget was accompanied by the budgetary iPhone5C that features a plastic cover. With the entire buzz surrounding the new iPhones it is now time to compare the new smartphones with the top Android phones, Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One.

Price:

The 16GB version of iPhone5S has been priced $199 (16GB), $299 (32GB) and $399 (64GB), reported Latin Post.

Samsung's flagship device Galaxy S4 that is the SIM-free version has been tagged at a price of $619.

The 32 GB model of HTC One is available for $600 whereas the phone is not available in a 16GB variant.

Specifications:

While Apple products might be slightly expensive setting back customers by a higher amount than other brands, they are known for smooth functioning and praiseworthy specifications.

The iPhone5S had seen many leaks in before few weeks from the launch, which surprisingly came true. With the official launch of the device, it has now been confirmed that the iPhone5S has a display of 1136X640 pixels, which appears to be less in comparison to Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One that have a screen resolution of 1080X1920 pixels.

While Apple's iPhone and Galaxy S4 are both available in three variants of 16, 32 and 64GB, HTC One is available in just two variants 32 and 64GB, reported Digital Trends.

The new iPhone does not have a SD card slot whereas both the Android flagship devices hold a slot. The processor of the iPhone5S is A7 chip of 64 bit whereas the Galaxy S4 and HTC One have a quad-core Snapdragon 600.

Apple lags behind when it comes to memory with a RAM of 1 GB, whereas the Galaxy S4 as well as HTC One comes with a 2GB RAM.

Even though Apple has always scored in terms of camera and image quality, the Galaxy S4 clearly wins the race. The iPhone5S has a rear camera of 8 megapixels along with a front facing camera of 1.2 megapixels. On the other hand, the Galaxy S4 has a rear camera of 13 megapixels with a front facing camera of 1.9 megapixels.

HTC One comes last when it comes to camera as the main camera is of just 4 megapixels though it features a front facing camera of 2.1 megapixels.

Apple is known for its unique applications and this time the Cupertino-based company has taken a step forward by launching the fingerprint sensor located on the home button of iPhone5S. The sensor will help the users to protect their privacy.

While it might be true that the iPhones have a charm of their own, the specifications of the newly launched iPhone5S are not exactly out of the world as there is not much difference when compared with the Android phones. But the tech giant has experimented with three new colors, gold, silver and metal.

Meanwhile, there is one prediction that did not come true after all. It was said that the iOS7 was likely to be rolled out along with the devices, but turns out Apple has another date set for its launch.

With the launch of iOS 7 on 18 September, 2013, the Apple's newly launched iPhones will also be updated with new software.
