Popular television show "Comedy Nights with Kapil" that went international with its first live performance in Dubai last month, is set to tread new waters now.

The show hosted by comedian Kapil Sharma is now heading to different cities across Europe and the US for live shows.

The entire cast of the comedy show, including Sharma will perform in various cities to entertain local fans after it received increasing demands from viewers across the world.

"Kapil and his team of actors from Comedy Nights will perform these live shows, which will be produced for Colors and for Kapil's K9 productions by event and entertainment organisations owned by Bunty Bahl, actor Nihar Pandya, his brother Paarth Pandya, Yohaan Abraham and Anita Abraham and would be telecast by Pan Entertainment and its Dubai brand Ekya Advertising," a source close to the unit told DNA.

The purpose of these live shows is to give "Comedy Nights with Kapil" a global platform.

"We organised 'Comedy Nights With Kapil' in Dubai with a 108-member cast and crew. The performance was held at the Sheikh Rashid Hall at the Dubai World Trade centre, with a capacity crowd of 4.000 people in attendance. There were nearly 800 to a 1,000 more people waiting outside for passes," Nihar said about the Dubai show. "We do plan to take the shows further".

"Comedy Nights with Kapil" that airs on Colors channel revolves around Sharma's onscreen funny family who indulge in a lot of pranks to entertain the viewers.

Apart from Sharma, who plays the role of Bittu Sharma in the show, other characters of the show, including Dadi, the character played by Ali Asgar, Gutthi (Suni Grover), Bua (Upasna Singh) and Manju played by Sumona Chakravarty have also gained popularity.

The comedy entertainer is currently one of the top shows on Indian television with high TRP ratings. It is considered to be a healthy, clean and fun entertainer for all to watch irrespective of age groups. Sharma's tongue-in-cheek humour even amuses the celebrity guests, who appear on the show to promote their films.
