Megastar Chiranjeevi is all praise for Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and Tamil superstar Rajinikanth and described the two as good human beings.

Chiranjeevi, who turned 60 on 22 August, is one Tollywood celebrity who has nicely balanced his family and professional life. Besides keeping his bond with his family intact, he has also maintained very good relationship with leading actors from different film industries of Indian cinema. Superstars like Salman Khan and Rajinikanth are among them.

In an interview with Hyderabad Times, Chiranjeevi spoke about his relationship with Salman Khan and Rajinikanth and detailed the differences and similarities between him and the two superstars.

"Salman is a close family friend of ours. Our relationship was strengthened while working together on the Thums Up ad," Chiru told HT when quizzed about his bond with the Bollywood actor.

"His coinage of 'Being Human' is so appropriate. He is a very good human being, host and friend. Whenever I would be in Mumbai, he would take me to his house and he would treat me. I am really very impressed with that human side of him," the Megastar added.

Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan are two different personalities, but get along well with each other. When asked about it, Chiru says, "Somehow Salman likes me. It just happened. He liked my personality and love and behaviour towards him and we became close. Of course I am not as naughty as Salman."

When asked about his friendship with Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi said, "He is such a gentle person and so down to earth. He is very passionate about everything. We have a similar image of being mass action heroes. He is very close to me."

After the release of 2007 film "Shankar Dada Zindabad", Chiranjeevi took a break from acting. He jumped into politics in 2008 but suffered a set back in 2014 elections. He is now planning to comeback to films and will next be seen in a cameo role in his son Ram Charan's film "Bruce Lee". He is also gearing up to kick start the shooting of his 150th movie.
