Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Allu Arjun, Allu Arvind and other mega family members paid their last respects to renowned filmmaker Daggubati Ramanaidu, who passed away on Wednesday, 18 February, after a long battle with prostate cancer.
The legendary producer had always maintained a healthy relationship with the Mega Family and has produced quite a few films with the mega actors.
Ramanaidu's production company Suresh Productions produced Chiranjeevi's "Sangharshana" in 1984. The film also had Vijayashanti and Prabhakar Reddy in pivotal roles. The story was about a US-educated son, who worked as a labour at his father's factory after learning about his father's involvement in smuggling business. It was one of the most important films of Chiranjeevi's career.
Ramanaidu also produced Pawan Kalyan's recently-released satirical drama film "Gopala Gopala" (2015), which turned out as a box office hit by grossing more than ₹411 million at the worldwide box office. It also had Daggubati Venkatesh, Shriya Saran, Mithun Chakraborty and Posani Krishna Murali in pivotal roles.
Meanwhile, the cremation of the renowned film producer will take place in Hyderabad on Thursday afternoon .
