Megastar Chiranjeevi is said to have agreed to work with director Puri Jagannadh in his forthcoming movie "Auto Johnny" and he is likely take it up after wrapping his 150th movie.

Back in May, 2015, it was rumoured that Puri Jagannadh had been roped in to direct Chiranjeevi in his 150th film. The director had narrated a script to the actor, who was impressed with it, but had suggested some changes. Months later, the news emerged that Chiru had dumped him and roped in director VV Vinayak for it.

It was reported that Chiranjeevi was not happy with the second half of "Auto Johnny." Hence, he rejected the project. The latest we hear is that Ram Charan, who is producing Chiru's 150th film, had assured Puri Jagannadh that "Auto Johnny" would be the next project. So, the director rewrote the second half and recently narrated the improved version of the script, which has impressed the megastar.

"After Chiranjeevi made the announcement, Ram Charan had assured Puri that he could work with his father next. And the director took this as a cue to come up with a script which would impress. While Chiru has liked it, he is taking his time to make a decision. He is busy with one project and is in no hurry to start work on another one," a source told the Hyderabad Times.

"Auto Johnny" will be a commercial entertainer and will show Chiranjeevi in a mass avatar. The megastar is currently busy shooting for his comeback movie. Puri Jagannadh is working on his next venture titled "Ism," which features Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Aditi Arya and Jagapati Babu in the lead role. They are likely to take up their first combo film after completing their respective projects.
