Chennai, Sep 30 (ANI): Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram slammed the "unregulated" players in the market and said on Monday that their activities have adversely impacted large number of consumers in the country. Chidambaram was addressing a national seminar on "Indian Financial Code" in Chennai which was recommended by the Financial Sector Legislative Reforms Commission and organised by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Meanwhile the finance minister also elaborated on the recent ordinance which was passed by the government on September 16 aimed at filling up the loopholes to protect the interests of the consumers from being exploited by these unregulated players.
