New Delhi, June 19 (ANI): Governor of Chhattisgarh Shekhar Dutt stepped down from his office on Thursday. Earlier on Tuesday, Uttar Pradesh Governor BL Joshi also gave his resignation. The NDA government after coming to power had started nudging seven Congress-appointed governors to quit. BJP leader Subramanian Swamy had said earlier that all the Governors, who were appointed by the previous UPA government, should resign. The Congress however attacked the government over removal of governors and said that they should be allowed to complete their tenure.
