American automobile manufacturer Chevrolet is expected to pull the wraps off its seven-seater full size SUV in India in October. Now, ahead of its possible launch in the country, the SUV has made its online debut on the official website of the company, giving a sneak peek into the model before its arrival.

The Trailblazer, the SUV that will take on the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and Ford Endeavour in India, is expected to be priced around Rs 29 lakh.

In terms of dimensions, Chevrolet Trailblazer measures 4,878mm in length, 1,902mm in width and 1,838mm of height. It comes with 2,845mm wheelbase and has a ground clearance of 231mm.

The SUV will be powered by a 2.8-litre Duramax four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine that can churn out 197bhp of power at 3,600rpm and 500Nm of torque at 2,000rpm mated to six-speed automatic transmission.

India-spec Trailblazer will house features such as 7 inch 'MyLink' touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone app link, climate control and safety features like double airbags, electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), electronic stability control (ESC), anti-lock braking system (ABS), pre-tensioner seatbelts, rear-park assist and reverse parking camera.

Various reports on the web suggest the SUV from Chevrolet SUV Trailblazer would make its India entry on 21 October.
