Chevrolet's SUV Trailblazer is slated for its India debut on 21 October. The SUV has already made its online debut on the company's official website and now the latest interesting tidbit coming our way is that the Chevy SUV Trailblazer will also be sold through Amazon India.
Yes, you read it right. Following the footsteps of Mahindra Scorpio and Hero MotoCorp, Chevrolet seems to have inked a new deal with popular e-retailer Amazon to sell their upcoming SUV model Trailblazer.
The Chevrolet Trailblazer is now listed on Amazon India website and the retailer will start accepting the bookings from 21 October, the same day of the launch of the model in India. As per the retailer listing, Trailblazer will be available in black and white colours choices.
To be powered by a 2.8-litre Duramax four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine that can churn out 197bhp of power at 3,600rpm and 500Nm of torque at 2,000rpm with six-speed automatic transmission, Chevrolet Trailblazer will take on the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and Ford Endeavour in India.
In terms of dimensions, Chevrolet Trailblazer measures 4,878mm in length, 1,902mm in width and 1,838mm of height. It comes with 2,845mm wheelbase and has a ground clearance of 231mm. Trailblazer is expected to get features such as 7 inch 'MyLink' touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone app link, climate control.
On the safety front, the SUV will have double airbags, electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), electronic stability control (ESC), anti-lock braking system (ABS), pre-tensioner seatbelts, rear-park assist and reverse parking camera.
When launched, Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV is expected to be priced in the Rs 29 lakh brackets.
