The 1967 model Chevrolet Camaro SS that played Bumblebee in the fourth instalment of the Transformers film franchise, Transformers: Age of Extinction, has been listed for auction.

Mark Wahlberg starred in the movie, which had been directed by Michael Bay.

Currently owned by the director of the movie, the Camaro SS will be auctioned off at the Barrett Jackson collector car action in Scottsdale, Arizona, in January.

Draped in satin black paint with high-gloss yellow accents, the two-door coupe features custom-made carbon-fiber fender flares and front splitter, power hood latch and engine covers. The car is fitted with Nitto low-profile tires, custom LED yellow headlights, yellow Ridetech TigerCage rollcage.

The interior is spruced up with touchscreen navigation stereo system, custom three-spoke racing steering wheel. The seats are covered in black leather upholstery and autographed by its current owner, Michael Bay. Additionally, the car features Auto Meter Cobalt gauges and a system kill switch positioned within glovebox.

The car is powered by a fuel-injected Corvette LS3 engine mated to six-speed manual transmission. The auctioneer did not mention the power figures, but confirms custom suspension and Wilwood brakes.
