Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan was apparently stuck in the Chennai floods and fans were concerned about the junior Bachchan.
However, Abhishek is currently safe as he took to Twitter to inform fans about his status.
"Thank you all for the concern. Am safe and dry. Thoughts and prayers with the people more severely affected. #ChennaiFloods (sic)," tweeted the actor.
Meanwhile, several Bollywood celebrities have been praying for the safety of the people stuck in the crisis.
Abhishek Bachchan's father Amitabh Bachchan, like many others, took to Twitter and applauded the relief work being done, coupled with voluntary help being offered.
Also superstar Rajnikanth has extended his support to the flood victims in Chennai and has donated Rs 10 lakhs to the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund.
