Deepika Padukone is on high spirits these days as Shah Rukh Khan had recently come out showering attention and praises on the leggy lass.
At the "Chennai Express" trailer launch Shah Rukh said about Deepika: "I feel gentle towards her... I feel protective for her. It was special working with her again."
"I love the fact that she started her career with me. She is a fantastic actor and has grown with every film. Her last few films have been hit and I am really happy with her success. I feel nice that her work is appreciated," added SRK about the doe-eyed beauty.
Incidentally, this will be Deepika's second film opposite Shah Rukh after her debut "Om Shanti Om" in 2007.
The "Cocktail" actress on her growing friendship with SRK said, "It was glad to be working with him again. He has become my very good friend today."
She went on to add, "He is someone I trust personally and professionally. I am sure he will always be there for me whenever I need him," reported PTI.
Deepika seems to be the current favourite of her lead actors. Ranbir Kapoor was seen praising his ex-flame for her talent and professional approach during "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" promotions.
Ranveer Singh too went on to claim Deepika as his 'most beautiful co-star' and even added that he was 'attracted to her.' Deepika is presently working with him in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Ram Leela", a modern take on Shakespeare classic "Romeo and Juliet".
Reports are abuzz that Ranveer is dating Deepkia and only recently, both were reported going out for dinner together. However, the duo chose different exit routes in an attempt to evade the media glare.
