Wagah
The makers have released the second trailer of Tamil movie Vikram Prabhu Twitter Account

Vikram Prabhu's "Wagah" has topped the Chennai box office in its first weekend despite getting mixed reviews. The latest release has also overpowered Rajinikanth's "Kabali" and Bollywood movies "Rustom" and "Mohenjo Daro".

"Wagah" has minted Rs. 66.72 lakh from 189 shows. It is considered to be a good collection for a Vikram Prabhu-starrer. Trade experts say that the action romance film could have performed a lot better if it had enjoyed positive reviews. It has to be seen how the Tamil flick holds in the coming days.

Akshay Kumar's "Rustom" got the second spot at the Chennai box office with a business of Rs. 43.25 lakh, which is a good collection for a Hindi flick. The movie had 123 shows in its opening weekend and enjoyed over 65 per cent occupation at key theatres.

Ashutosh Gowariker's "Mohenjo Daro" has collected Rs. 41.30 lakh from 120 shows. The Bollywood film has opened to mixed reviews.

Interestingly, the business of "Kabali," which dominated for three consecutive weekends in Chennai, has completely slowed down in the capital city of Tamil Nadu. It raked in Rs. 23.35 lakh from 108 shows.

Tamil social satire film "Joker" follows next by raking in Rs. 19.60 lakh from 99 shows. The film has garnered highly positive reviews from critics. As a result, trade experts are expecting the film to perform well in coming days.

Telugu movie "Babu Bangaram" has got a decent start by earning Rs. 17.60 lakh from 102 shows. "Thirunaal" is in the next place by collecting Rs. 11.50 lakh from 75 shows to take its 10-day business to Rs. 1.17 crore.
