Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is ready to considerably strengthen the team ahead of the new season by completing a triple move for three highly-coveted stars. The Blues have already signed Michy Batshuayi from Marseille, but Conte has no plans of stopping there.

The new manager took charge at Chelsea on Wednesday, and he has already started the transfer business with the club reportedly agreeing a deal to sign N'Golo Kante from Leicester City. Kante was one of the best players in the Premier League last season, with his unending energy proving to be a great asset as Leicester City romped to the title.

Naturally, those performances have piqued the interest of the heavyweight clubs, with Arsenal, PSG and a club from the Chinese Super League, who have been making outrageously expensive transfers left, right and centre, also linked. However, Chelsea have moved ahead of their contenders, by convincing Kante to move to Stamford Bridge.

According to The Sun, Chelsea have agreed a fee of about £29million for the midfielder, who played his part for France in helping them reach the final of Euro 2016.

While Leicester, like they did with Jamie Vardy, when Arsenal nearly completed a move, have shown their intentions on giving Kante an improved deal, the 25-year-old reportedly has his heart set on a shift to London.

Along with Kante, Chelsea are also closing in on the signings of Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli and Gabriel Barbosa from Santos.

Koulibaly had an impressive campaign in the Serie A last season, which has led to several Premier League clubs showing an interest. While Arsenal's early interest seems to have died down, Chelsea have competition for the 25-year-old from Everton, who, like the Blues, have made a £34m offer, according to the Daily Mirror. However, Napoli want £50m for the centre-back, and it remains to be seen if Conte will go ahead with the move, even if the Chelsea manager is keen to sign a central defender after seemingly giving up on Leonardo Bonucci, who looks to be staying put at Juventus.

Conte could also have a dynamic forward in his squad for next season, with Gabriel Barbosa reportedly keen on switching to Chelsea this summer. Gabriel has been hailed as the "next Neymar," with several clubs, including Juventus, interested in his signature.

Chelsea have made a £25m bid for the Brazil international forward, and while Santos are not too keen on selling their prized asset yet, the player is ready to showcase his talents in the Premier League next season.
