Selena Gomez is dating again, and it's not Justin Bieber, according to a US Weekly report. The outlet claimed that the "Hands to Myself" singer is spending a lot of time with Charlie Puth, with whom she recorded a duet, "We Don't Talk Anymore."
"It's not serious, but she's super into him," a source told the website. US Weekly mentioned the source as saying that the rumoured couple is merely having a "flirty friendship."
Puth, 24, earlier told the outlet that he shares a connection with Gomez. He added: "I don't know if anyone really understands me. Which is why I hang out with Selena Gomez. She gets me."
While both singers haven't confirmed or denied their relationship, they will be travelling a lot as part of her "Revival" tour, which begins in May 2016. Puth will be the opening act for Gomez's Anaheim concert on July 9.
Gomez, 23, met Puth at MTV Video Music Awards party in August 2015. The singer reportedly walked up to her and struck up a conversation. By his own admission, he found Gomez mature and interesting.
However, a recent Gossip Cop article quashed US Weekly's report. According to the outlet, Gomez and Puth are just friends. This recent article comes at a time when Gomez's ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber posted a picture of him kissing Gomez in a swimming pool.
According to a Hollywood Life report, Bieber is still in love with his ex-girlfriend and wants to re-unite. A source told the publication that the "Sorry" singer has been constantly texting Gomez, asking her to give him another chance.
Gomez, has been linked to several people in the past. She was rumoured to be dating "One Direction" singer Niall Horan in December 2015 and more recently, Taylor Swift's brother Austin.
