Channing Tatum, who was recently seen in "22 Jump Street", turns 35 on Sunday and though his fans may know that he was crowned the 'sexiest man alive' by PEOPLE magazine, there are some lesser known facts that they may not be familiar with.

Everyone swoons over Tatum's perfect physique now, but he was a chubby little guy in his childhood and given a chance would love to gorge on cheese pizzas and fries even today.

"I really do think it's because I have an inner fat kid in me. I can completely lose myself into just absolutely satisfying things – a really amazing cheeseburger, a pizza, good fries, a beer. I enjoy being comfortable and eating whatever the hell I like," he told GQ.

Probably that's why he likes practising martial arts such as Capoeira, Kung Fu and Gor-Chor so much otherwise it would be hard to maintain those washboard abs. Other than martial arts, he also loves dancing. In fact, he is so much into dancing that whenever he has an argument with somebody, he asks them for a dance off rather than a fight.

And his love for dance goes way back to the days when he worked as stripper. But he ultimately left it because "that wasn't my thing ... Not that I was modest or anything; it just wasn't the part I enjoyed. I just wanted to dance," Tatum told People about his stripping days.

So with stripping out of the way, the "G.I.Joe" star started modelling for big brands such as Abercrombie & Fitch, Emporio Armani and Dolce & Gabbana to name a few. He started his film career with "Step Up" where he met his now wife, co-star, Jenna Dewan. The couple got married in fairytale-themed wedding and reportedly Tatum is quite a romantic fellow who loves leaving his wife love notes.

Surprisingly, the handsome hunk is scared of porcelain dolls as they are creepy and he feels that their eyes follow him as he passes the dolls. "I just think they're freaky!" he confessed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show "I just think they're really super freaky. They have, like, real eyes and they look real." Watch the video below to see his reaction in front of one of those dolls!
